Keith Ecker is the creator of Essay Fiesta and Guts & Glory, two of Chicago most well-known storytelling showcases. He has performed his comedic essays and monologues throughout Chicago at such shows as Write Club, Story Club, This Much Is True, the Chicago Writers Conference, the Printers Row Lit Fest, the Fillet of Solo Festival and many others. He is a former stand-up, improv and sketch comic, and his work has been published in McSweeney's Internet Tendency and the Huffington Post.

I got hit on while trying on shoes, and when I say "hit on," I mean some dude came up to me and showed me a naked picture of himself on his phone. Suffice to say, I left alone...but with a really nice pair of shoes.
