You're Being Ridiculous is super excited to celebrate PRIDE at Steppenwolf as part of their LookOut Series -- a performance series that presents the work of artists and companies across genre and form. We're delighted to welcome Lindsay Eanet to YBR to share a story with us ... learn a little about Lindsay here and get your tickets!
Lindsay Eanet can be seen reading around Chicago at shows like OUTSpoken, Essay Fiesta, Story Jam and karaoke night at Spyners Pub, doing her best impression of the Teen Angel from Grease. She is the co-host of "Hello to All That," a podcast launching this summer. She has a weakness for reality competition shows and cries an average of four times during every episode of American Ninja Warrior. But enough about her, let’s talk about you.
What's the QUEEREST thing you've ever done?
The first CD I ever bought with my own money was the Indigo Girls' double live album, 1200 Curfews.
Who's your favorite queer icon??
There are so many ways I could answer this and so many queer people in so many walks of life who I respect and admire, but the name jumping out at me right now is Brian Epstein, the queer, Jewish Scouser who elevated the Beatles from some local bar band into, well, the Beatles.
