You're Being Ridiculous is super excited to celebrate PRIDE at Steppenwolf as part of their LookOut Series -- a performance series that presents the work of artists and companies across genre and form. We're delighted to welcome Aimy Tien to YBR to share a story with us ... learn a little about Aimy here and get your tickets!
Aimy Tien is a Colorado transplant who fell into storytelling due to a combination of an irrational childhood fear of lions, a Val Kilmer film, and an overactive imagination. Now a Chicago-based performer, writer, and producer, Aimy focuses on bringing the stories of people of color and marginalized groups to the page, stage, and screen. She is a proud company member of 2nd Story and the Co-Director of Operations of Women of the Now, a womxn-run film collective. She makes art with Free Street Theater, About Face Theatre, Pride Films and Plays, Collaboraction, and other Chicago-based organizations.
