  • Meg Benson @ Uncommon Ground!

You're Being Ridiculous is super excited to be back at Uncommon Ground, Edgewater with a fun fall show for you! AND ... we're delighted to welcome Meg Benson to YBR to share a story with us ... learn a little about Meg here and get your tickets!

Meg was born in North Carolina, grew up in Grand Rapids Michigan and has lived in Chicago for 40 years.  She’s been married to Art Simon, a Rogers Park boy, for 38 years. They have three great daughters-- Julia, Caroline and Gina, and, of course, Trevor, the terrier. She is Executive Director of Chicago Volunteer Legal Services. She loves her work but hates trying to raise money. Otherwise, life is great and she is happy.

What are you thankful for this year??
    1) That this country is still surviving the dogs of intolerance unleashed by our current administration. I have faith that we will continue to survive, bruised and battered, but alive and still a good place.
    2) My home and work families. They get me through it all.
    3) Carbs—I don’t really need a reason for this, do I?

Meg is sharing a story with us at Uncommon Ground, Edgewater Friday, November 9.
