What are you thankful for this year??
1. My family, friends and pup -- this year and every year. I am surrounded by love and loving people. I'm so thankful.
2. Art. Art is activism. It's a subversive voice for the disenfranchised, and it's the articulation of hope. I love experiencing it and I love making it.
3. Food. Enjoying food and art together. Enjoying food with family. Enjoying food alone. Enjoying feeling nourished—cooking whole foods and eating well. And, feeling immense gratitude and humbled that I have the privilege of enjoying so many things—including but not limited to food—when so many others cannot.
