You're Being Ridiculous is super excited to celebrate our NINTH ANNIVERSARY at The Hideout! AND ... we're delighted to welcome Betsy Finesilver Haberl to YBR to share a story with us and help us celebrate ... learn a little about Betsy here and get your tickets!
Betsy Finesilver Haberl writes fiction and nonfiction, but YBR's 9th anniversary show is her first time telling a personal story in front of an audience! She's equal parts nervous and excited about getting up on that stage. She has an MFA in Creative Writing from Northwestern University and is a curator for Sunday Salon Chicago, one of the city's longest-running literary reading series. She was born and raised in northeastern Wisconsin, but now lives in Evanston, Illinois, with her family.
What are you most thankful for this year?
Honestly, I am most thankful for my family: my husband and our children. I know it's cheesy and cliche, but whatever, because I'm so grateful to have three whole people that have actually become part of my soul. Life can be hard, and we're living in some challenging times. It's really comforting to know who I can circle the wagons with.
