Linda Haase Cohen is a communications and marketing pro, card-carrying feminist, Jewish mother and Diet Coke fanatic. JUF’s longtime Senior AVP of Marketing Communications, Linda helped establish the HIV/AIDS Unit at the Illinois Department of Public Health and worked at the American Cancer Society to effect smoke-free public spaces and raise awareness of mammography. She’s a proud grad of Kalamazoo College and has a Master’s in Journalism from NU, because it seemed the thing to do at the time. Linda is delighted to be a board member of No Shame On U, a mental health advocacy group, and believes SSRIs should be their own food group. She has a bunch of professional awards, but is most proud of being a mentor (especially to other women) and the mom of a fabulous adult daughter. Linda lives in scenic Skokie with her husband, Joel, who’s a classical musician (#ImarriedRingo) and their tortie Piccolo.
