Holly Birnbaum has been telling stories her whole life, which began in mid-century Chicago. After she rewired in 2018, she already had told her first couple of stories at Short Story Theatre. Through The Goodman Theatre’s GeNarrations workshops, she soon discovered Chicagoland’s broader world of Live Lit and has told stories with 2nd Story, Do Not Submit and Tellers Night at Robert’s Westside.
Patrick Curtin is a native Chicagoan who discovered improv and storytelling in his mature years. He hones his storytelling skills at the Irish American Heritage Center and Goodman Theatre’s GeNarrations program. He shares stories in a variety of venues including Steppenwolf, Second City, Outspoken and Story Lab Chicago. His role models are Grandma Moses, Quentin Crisp and Betty White.
