Arlene Malinowski is a Chicago-based writer, playwright, and theater maker who has toured her award-winning solo shows throughout the U.S. She is a teaching Artist and has worked in film and television. Her book, SOLO: The Everything Guide to Writing Your One-Person Show, will be published by Northwestern University Press in January. She’d like to give a special thanks to Andy’s parents, who have supported her through all the years she’s been doing You’re Being Ridiculous. She knows she’s their second-favorite writer.
