Michelle Young grew up in central Illinois and has lived in Chicago for over 30 years. By day she manages a global sales team at a hospitality SaaS company, but by night she writes stories and comedy. Michelle believes in the transformative power of our stories as a way to elevate us, connect us, and express our deepest truth. She’s enjoyed telling stories with a variety of groups in the Chicagoland area, including OutSpoken, Is This A Thing, This Much is True, StoriesRUs, Let Me Tell You, Teller’s Night and Serving the Sentence. She also co-hosts the Storytelling Open Mic – Do Not Submit in Berwyn. And while she doesn’t claim to be a certified magician, Michelle certainly embraces magic and synchronicity.
