Theo Allyn is an actor/writer/performer, as well as a teacher of the trauma-informed movement meditation practice, Ishtara Body. A lifelong creative devoted to multidisciplinary art-making, they are building a new work which combines movement, poetry, prose and original music. As an actor, they were most recently seen as Jo in Little Women at Dobama Theatre in Cleveland, awarded Best Non Musical Production of 2023. A member of the original San Francisco company of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, they have worked regionally with Diversionary Theatre in This Beautiful City (San Diego Theatre Critics Circle Craig Noel Nomination for Best Lead Actress in a Musical), the Second City and the Goodman Theatre in Chicago, and with Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, Quantum Theatre, City Theatre, Pittsburgh Public Theatre.
